It provides practical guidance on legal and safe parking options, navigates local regulations, and connects participants to supportive resources to stabilize their situation and transition toward permanent housing.
Drawing on Alameda County's safe parking programs, nonprofit partnerships, and county services, the course addresses unique challenges like vehicle maintenance, sanitation, and enforcement risks. The course consists of two chapters, each with two lessons, emphasizing actionable steps and community-specific support as of 2025.
